Mutual Aid Agencies Configuration (Optional)
Overview
You can configure mutual aid agencies in FireWorks to document multi-agency responses accurately. This setup ensures proper incident tracking for accreditation purposes and enables NERIS data transmission for national emergency response analytics.
You will need NERIS Entity IDs from relevant agencies before getting started.
Configuring Mutual Aid Agencies
To configure mutual aid agencies for NERIS reporting:
Navigate to Incident Settings > Mutual Aid Agencies.
Click New to add a mutual aid agency.
Complete the agency information fields.
For NERIS reporting: Enter the agency's NERIS Entity ID in the corresponding column.
Agencies with NERIS Entity IDs will appear in NERIS analytics; those without will only appear in local incident reports.
Repeat for all mutual aid agencies.
When finished, click Exit.
