Vital Signs
Overview
Document patient vital signs using the EPR FireWorks ePCR Assessment tab for clinical trending, protocol activation, and regulatory compliance. Support both cardiac monitor integration and manual assessment during patient care.
Vital signs documentation is repeated throughout patient care to establish clinical trends and track patient response to treatment.
Before You Start
Navigate to the Assessment tab and initiate a patient encounter. Ensure Assessment module permissions and verify device connectivity if using cardiac monitor integration.
The Vital Signs rows consist of in-row fields (e.g., BP, HR, etc) divided into rubrics for quick tracking of critical vitals and detailed sidebars for in-depth documentation.
To access the detailed sidebars, click the desired rubric. The sidebar will open on the right.
