Getting Started with ePCR

Overview

This guide provides essential resources for configuring EPR FireWorks ePCR, accessing patient records, and navigating the documentation interface. Complete the configuration steps before beginning ePCR documentation to optimize your workspace for emergency operations.

Initial Setup

1. Configuring ePCR App Settings

Configure personal interface preferences including display options, data presentation settings, and system maintenance controls.

2. Managing Patient and QC Review List Interfaces

Navigate the Patient List and QC Review interfaces for accessing incidents, managing ePCR records, and performing quality control reviews.

3. ePCR Incident Filters

Create and apply filters to locate specific ePCRs using incident details, patient information, medical criteria, and quality control status.


Starting Documentation

4. Opening an ePCR

Open ePCRs using multiple workflows including direct access from visible incidents, historical incident lookup, manual incident creation, and multi-patient documentation.

5. Navigating the ePCR Interface

Understand the ePCR interface components including the upper toolbar, main navigation tabs, search functions, and supporting features.
